    Position summary

To succeed in this role, the candidate should have a strong drive to improve systems and processes, mentor, and positively lead and influence the teams. Researching new innovations, especially in digital color, will allow you to contribute to or lead projects to establish new processes.

    • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience or 7 years industry experience in lieu of a degree

    • Bachelor's degree in Apparel, Textiles, Chemistry, or a related field (2 additional years' experience in lieu of a degree)

    • Ability to pass the Munsell Hue color test to determine visual color acuity

    • Knowledge of apparel and textiles material/construction, including garment construction

    • Great communication and organizational skills and able to drive solution.

    • Microsoft Office applications and Product Data Management systems skills

    • Experience with Smartsheet and knowledge of Natific is a plus

    • 5-10% travel required

    WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

    As a Senior Color Developer, you will lead color execution for Nike Apparel, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include executing color palettes, ensuring on-time commercialization, developing tools and processes, tracking lab dips, and addressing challenges. You will interact with design, materials, merchandising, product creation, manufacturing, and integrity teams.

    • Develop and approve color standards for apparel and textiles
    • Implement digital color matching and calibration systems to optimize efficiency
    • Manage lab dips, strike-offs, and bulk color execution
    • Ensure color consistency across various materials and production processes
    • Ability to analyze and optimize color accuracy using spectrophotometers and digital platforms
