The Core ERP team, we bring together technology and process expertise to deliver solutions that enable Nike’s businesses and brands worldwide.
As our Senior SAP Basis Engineer , you will be responsible for working with business and IT partners to leverage SAP platforms as strategic asset within Technology. You will work as a liaison between our business, capability partners and the agile product teams to understand business problems and help find appropriate solutions, documents requirements, communicate effectively with all levels of management, and deliver projects on time. You will also be working with a team to bring broad experience in the Best practices for SAP platforms and also to define and refine in developing the roadmap for the SAP platforms.
We are seeking dynamic, collaborative individuals with the ability to work across multiple functions to influence best practices and management at Nike.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll be working with Engineering teams and across multiple stakeholder groups to translate business strategies, initiatives, goals and objectives into information management proposals for SAP.

Key Responsibilities include

• Manage, Build, configure, monitor , tuning SAP technical environment across Suite of SAP Systems like SAP ERP, BW, SCM/APO, BOBI, PI/PO, S/4HANA, HANA DB, CAR , GRC, BOBJ, Data Services , Fiori,DI and SAP Solution Manager
• Experience with SAP BTP Cloud and Integration, SaaS tools.
• independently Plan and Execute of SAP Support/ Upgrade projects as needed
• Research & implement solutions within Basis functionality in areas of performance monitoring, tuning and systems configurations, design & implementation.
• Design, build and support of new and existing interfaces to SAP
• Perform application and database refreshes of SAP development and test systems.
• Manage the design and implementation of Change Management (CHARM).
• SAP Deployments and management in cloud (aws/azure)
• Understanding of Suse Cluster to be able to support the cluster and high availability implementation.
• Disaster Recovery and application and platform resiliency options.
• Manage small teams that successfully execute large initiatives in addition to smaller ongoing support projects.
• Vendor Relationship - Building strong relationships with a variety of third party providers to deliver the tools and skills needed to fulfill the Platform strategy
• Work closely with product teams and devops/engineering teams to solve complex problems.

• You will work in close partnership with other leaders throughout NIKE's technical and business community to ensure NIKE Technology embraces industry-leading innovations, trends, and transformations and accelerates and supports business strategies and priorities for NIKE’s rapidly growing business

• You will work with a team of engineers that serve all of Nike Global Technology. You will be expected to be comfortable interacting with other engineers and product managers from all facets of technology development at Nike.

• This is a dynamic team, solving problems on a daily basis in technology areas related to SAP application, cloud infrastructure, automation and application testing and continuous deployment across Nike Engineering teams. WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent.

• 5 to 8 years’ experience in Information Technology particular in SAP Basis Administration role

• Minimum 4 lifecycle Implementations in SAP technology

• Experience with migrating/building SAP applications in AWS or Azure Cloud would be a plus.

• Strong experience in Suite of SAP Systems like SAP ERP, BW, SCM/APO, BOBI, PI/PO, S/4HANA, CAR , GRC, BOBJ, Data Services , Fiori and SAP Solution Manager.

• Database Administration experience with HANA DB, Oracle DB.

• Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform/Business Technology Platform and configuring various services.

• Experience with Splunk, NewRelic, AMS, HANA cockpit, will be a plus.

• Experience with DI , Data Custodian will be a plus.

• Strong team player with proven experience to collaborate with other server, network, storage engineers and administrators

• Excellent communication skills; feels comfortable working with non-technical business partners
