The Logistics Center Infrastructure Support Engineer will be responsible for the service relationship with the logistics center (LC) operation team and take accountability for ensuring TechOps services are delivered with SLA. This role sits within the Distribution Center (SEA&I/Pacific) and drives continuous improvement in delivery performance and achieves a high degree of user satisfaction results.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As a Logistics Center Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will be responsible for incident management and a service delivery. You will use your broad background in IT service management to design and deliver IT operation services. Important to the role is the ability to identify, evaluate, and execute IT operation service requirements and solutions. In addition, you should be able to communicate with business stakeholders and project teams on IT operation service management and transition. To analysis and continuously optimize service is also a part of your daily key tasks.
You will manage daily operation services, production support of WMOS system in the ‘imPact LC’ (Logistics Center) and handle Warehouse Management for Open Systems (WMOS) L1/L2 & End User Computing (EUC) support and work with Ops & Logistics (O&L) team to ensure end-to-end management of incidents, service requests in the WMOS environment. You will maintain relationships & communicate with logistics center cross functional teams, understand what business needs are and work with operations on solution delivery while contributing in regular meetings to communicate project/operational statuses, identify any potential bottlenecks and continuously manage expectations of stakeholders. Tracking KPI’s and business fitness functions, monitor trends, and benchmark to better serve Nike’s consumers will be key as you operate with a strong sense of urgency ensuring that the operationalized ITSM processes and functions add value to all stakeholders, with respect to the delivery, management, and consumption of those services.
You will play an important part in improving stabilization of ‘imPact LC’ infrastructure operation services and closely work with business initiatives and provide technical consultant and delivery of project outputs.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You’ll closely work with other Tech Ops functions and GOaL (Global Ops & Logistics) stakeholders. You will also closely interact with Logistics center stakeholders in Distribution Center to help to execute overall Nike Pacific business plans and need to work with other IT streams in Tech and counter parts across the globe as necessary.LI-JP1
