Junior-level Electrical engineering position in the Huntsville Hardware Engineering (HHWE) group of the Combat Systems and Mission Readiness (CSMR) division.
Position supports one or more projects performing Electrical design engineering to integrate Command and Control systems into tactical platforms for Department of Defense programs. These projects include air and missile defense command systems, anti-artillery systems, wheeled and armored vehicles, command operations centers, or security and warning systems, as well as associated activities.
Responsibilities include:
-- Electrical design of parts, assemblies, subsystems, and complete systems, including drafting/review/revision/release of engineering drawings, selection of components and materials
-- Support of small, cross-functional teams performing various design and production-support tasks in an Agile Hardware environment
-- Collaborating with other functional areas such as Production, Procurement, Systems Engineering, Quality, and Logistics on aspects of product design, integration, and support in an Agile Hardware environment
-- Communicating with internal buyers and external fabrication shops to exchange technical information about fabrication of parts and assemblies
-- Performing Electrical engineering analyses, such as power loading, power quality analysis, thermal output, electrical design derating, and authoring reports documenting them
-- Development and maintenance of bills of material in support of design, production, proposal, or other business activities
-- Support development of engineering briefings to support internal and external design reviews, including to company management and government customer representatives
-- Assisting in the preparation and submittal of contract deliverable reports and data packages

Salary Range: $68,000 USD - $82,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
