Northrop Grumman is seeking Network Engineers. This position will be located at our Space Sector in Huntsville, AL. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Strategic Deterrent Systems division. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will design and plan network communications systems. Provide specification and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conduct testing of network design. Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Basic Qualifications
This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Network Engineer or a Network Engineer. Basic qualification for an Associate Network Engineer is a Bachelor's Degree. Basic qualification for a Network Engineer is a Master's Degree.

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be majoring in or having majored in an Engineering discipline or a closely related STEM major.
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higher
• Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
• Good presentation and writing/communication skills.

Associate Network Engineer Salary Range:
$55,300 - $82,900

Network Engineer Salary Range:
$67,500 - $101,300

Salary Range: $55,300 USD - $82,900 USD
Salary Range 2: $67,500 USD - $101,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
