We are looking for you to join our team as a *Business Management Manager 1 *based out of San Diego, CA. Flexible work arrangements (hybrid schedule) may be available depending upon identified business needs. This position offers the 9/80 schedule.
What You'll Get to Do:
The *Business Management Manager 1 *will lead all financial aspects of the programs within the F-35 CNI Development portfolio. This position reports to the F35 OU Business Manager and partners with the Department Manager to develop strategy, report on program performance and achieve financial goals.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking and analysis
Subcontractor invoicing and funding
Comprehensive Estimate-at-Complete (CEAC) preparation and review
Management and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
Compliance and financial reporting
On-going collaboration with customer and functional teams
Review of contractual documents
Assistance with contract negotiations
Support of pricing and proposal activities
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 5 years of industry related - or - Masters degree as described with 3 years of industry related experience.
Experience in finance, accounting or program control
Understanding of DOD contracts, and government Cost Accounting Standards
Prior experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan development
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SAP
Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management
Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
US Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
MBA or CPA certification
Previous experience managing/supervising a program, project or personnel
Experience with Earned Value Management
Experience with COGNOS and COBRA forecasting systems
Understanding of the FAR

*Salary Range: *$107,300 - $160,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
