Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems sector is looking for a Capture Program Manager Level 3 to support the Special Defense Operating Unit in Annapolis, MD.
The successful candidate must possess experience and ability to: engage and develop customer relationships to understand and shape opportunities, demonstrate understanding of capture and proposal activities needed to improve Pwin, develop early win strategies for customer outreach and targeted influence and competitor assessments; devise detailed government relations and legislative advocacy plans; convene multifunctional teams to create mission discriminators through affordable, innovative technology and engineering, management strategies and cost strategies, and present the aforementioned to senior management in a concise fashion to enable early bid/no bid decisions.
Basic Qualifications**:**
A BS/BA degree and 10 years or more of relevant experience working in Program Management, Capture Management, and Business Development with a large government contractor.
Track record of capture on small and large pursuits
Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of US Government procurement policies and regulations
Willingness to travel 25% of time
The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance.
Insight into customer technical and business (financial, political, cultural) requirements and the ability to shape customer expectations with a solution that satisfies their needs and is advantageous to the company.
The ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program and stakeholder needs
The ability to define proposal strategy, lead proposal teams, analyze and shape RFPs, produce and deliver winning proposals, effectively track and incorporate Review Team comments and findings, and manage post-proposal submittals (orals, finding responses).
Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and CI poly
Preferred Qualifications:
Salary Range: $163,200 USD - $244,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
