    Northrop Grumman is seeking a well-qualified Computer Operations Analyst to join its dynamic team of technical professionals in Vandenburg CA.
    Roles and responsibilities include:

    • Perform functional lead activities for Classified Desktop support team in Vandenburg, California.
    • Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management.
    • Oversee and coordinate the ServiceNow ticketing system and provide support and direction to the team on daily and project activities.
    • Work directly with classified organizational management and program managers.
    • Engage with the Program and Sector functional organizations to provide and support IT projects for Sector in support of Program requirements.
    • Perform as Windows Systems Administrator for a medium to large sized classified government contract.
    • Administer backup and recovery services; manage file systems and disk space; manage virus protection on a routine basis.
    • Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts.

    This position may be filled at a higher level based on the requirements below.
    Basic Qualifications Level 2:

    • High school diploma or equivalent and 6 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 4 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance as condition of continued employment.
    • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system - creating processing and tracking status.
    • Experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods.

    Basic Qualifications Level 3:

    • High school diploma or equivalent and 10 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 7 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance as condition of continued employment.
    • Ability to be cleared to and maintain special access program clearance
    • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system - creating processing and tracking status.
    • Experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Current IAM Level I certification (ex: Security+ CE) or greater.
    • Active DOD Secret or higher clearance.
    • Strong knowledge of internal Northrop Grumman IT processes and procedures a plus.
    • Project planning experience a plus.

    Salary Range: $77,100 USD - $115,700 USD
    Salary Range 2: $95,000 USD - $142,400 USD

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
