Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Contract Administrator 2/3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Roy UT and support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.

The successful candidate will possess leadership qualities and be able to provide responsible advice and counsel on a wide range of contractual and business issues under moderate supervision and perform in all matters involving the interpretation and application of company contracting policies and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Cradle to grave contract activities from the business development phase through closeout.
• Delivering customer satisfaction.
• Building customer relationships and timely responses to both external and internal customers.
• Exhibiting good communications with internal and external contacts. Understand the need to adjust communication style to yield better responses from customers.
• Planning and executing successful contract negotiations of a moderately complex nature and achieving targeted profit rates, as well as producing favorable terms and conditions to assist in mitigating risk and meeting overall financial goals.
• Understanding assigned contract scope and terms to identify and manage changes to the contract baseline.
• Assessing situations and make appropriate contractual recommendations and/or take appropriate actions.
• Conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
• Working on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Providing guidance and working collaboratively with a multitude of organizations ranging from technical, program, finance, global supply chain, and security for seamless contract administration.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 2:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 3+ years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 1 year of related professional experience.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 5+ years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 3 year of related professional experience.

Additional Basic qualifications for both levels:

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experiences.
• Knowledge and understanding of pricing principles and FAR/DFARS as well as associated Federal Contracting regulations.
• Experience with proposal strategy, contract formation and customer relationships.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret level security clearance is required. US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active US Secret Clearance.

Salary Range: $58,800 USD - $88,200 USD
Salary Range 2: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
