DevOps Engineer / Principal DevOps Engineer (AHT)

ased out of Manhattan Beach, CA. Our Team works on state-of-the-art Mission Planning systems.

Responsibilities Include:

• Create and maintain the software CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, bug safe delivery of critical business software to production.
• Set up Development, Test, and Build environments for the team
• Work with various team members to create a product for deliveries
• Create and update Windows installers
• Install, test, and verify software products
• Maintain multiple baseline repositories
• Provide support to team members with issues relate to build and installation.
• Define and implement software version control processes, policies, and procedures.

This is a dual level opportunity. We are open to candidates that qualify for a DevOps / Principal DevOps Engineer.
Basic Qualifications:
DevOps Engineer Requirements:

• BS or higher degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or related field from an ABET accredited university
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or software build management OR 1 year experience with a master's degree in a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with DevOps engineering principals
• Knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) Practices
• Experience using and managing one of these CI/CD tools: Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab
• Development experience in one or more of the following scripts: yaml, Python, PowerShell, Curl, unix
• Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (C#, Java, C++)
• Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following tools: GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Ansible, VisualBuild, InstallShield, WiX
• Must have a DoD Secret Clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance and Special Access Program Clearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Principal DevOps Engineer Requirements:

• BS or higher degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or related field from an ABET accredited university
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or software build management OR 3 years' experience with a master's degree in a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with DevOps engineering principals
• Knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) Practices
• Experience using and managing one of these CI/CD tools: Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab
• Demonstrated experience with DevOps engineering principals
• Development experience in one or more of the following scripts: yaml, Python, PowerShell, Curl, unix

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Windows-based Applications
• Experience specifically with these tools: InstallShield, Kinook Visual Build Pro, WiX
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodology
• Software testing experience
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: C#, .NET Framework, Java, C/C++
• Security+ Certification
• Experience deploying software to a cloud environment (AWS or Azure)
• Expert Windows and Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning and proven Automation/Coding experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements, streamline activities, and develop efficiencies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and analytic skills
• Current DoD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $85,000 - $127,400
Salary Range 2: $104,600 - $157,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
