Northrop Grumman Aeronautics is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our STRIKE software team. The successful candidate will join our existing team of software professionals who are developing world-class software in a structured environment to meet our customers' high expectations. This position can be based in Oklahoma City, OK or Melbourne, FL.
Essential Functions:
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle activities and the Agile process for Strike Software.
• Review of Software requirements for completeness and understandability.
• Perform detailed design, code, and testing of those requirements at the domain level as well as support of system and operational testing.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 2 years experience in real-time embedded software experience; OR a Master's Degree in STEM with 0 years experience
• Must be fluent in C++ Object-Oriented Design and Development
• Experience in Python
• Must have experience with embedded systems for military applications
• Must have experience in using integrated development environment tools (e.g. Rhapsody) and real-time operating systems (e.g. Integrity, VxWorks)
• Must have US Citizenship
• Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP (Special Access Programs). This special access must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in complete software development life-cycle
• Experience in the Agile process
• Experience in CMMI Level 5 processes
• Candidate will be expected to have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
Salary Range: $66,800 USD - $100,200 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
