Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has two openings for a Field Technicians at the level 2 or 3 to join our JTAGS-P3I team located in Colorado Springs, CO. The candidate will be filling a role that requires a broad array of knowledge and skills heavily focused on systems administration and field service. Candidate will be working with team members to support JTAGS program sustainment and development. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an strong work ethic and the ability to work in a collaborative fast-moving dynamic team environment.
Our ideal candidate will be knowledgeable with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job, and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. No instructions needed on routine work, and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments. Typical Duties and Tasks Duties & tasks are varied and moderately complex. Resolves most questions and problems and refers complex questions to higher levels. Errors may be difficult to detect and would normally result in loss of customer business, material, or equipment to resolve. Contacts are frequent with individuals representing other departments, and/or representing outside organizations. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department or which may be of sensitive nature.
Position Summary / Responsibilities:
The candidate must be able to work well in a team environment and be able to adapt quickly to change. The candidate must be a US citizen, hold an active DOD 8570 IA Workforce Improvement Program IAT Level II Technical Level Certification (Security + CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP) and hold an active DOD Secret security clearance.

Salary Range: $50,000 USD - $70,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $55,000 USD - $85,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
