Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Industrial Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

What you'll get to do:
The qualified applicant will have a working knowledge and understanding of industrial engineering, production scheduling, capacity, and methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Possess knowledge and understanding of master production scheduling, material requirements planning, and manufacturing business systems. Have an understanding of the SAP MRP system and how scheduling and capacity works within the system is a plus.

• Engage and collaborate with programs and functional organizations (from individual contributors to executive staff) to obtain, understand, and interpret manufacturing facilitation and scheduling requirements
• Work with functional team to understand scheduling requirements and integrate with horizontal organization
• Document, track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution
• Part of the responsibility will include factory and facility layout

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You'll bring these qualifications:

• 9 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; 7 years of experience with a Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
• Active DoD security clearance.

These qualifications would be nice to have:

• Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP MRP, AutoCAD.
• Experience in system test and integration
• Understanding of standing up a production shop floor
• Experience working with multiple product teams for deliverables for assembly

Salary Range: $98,700 USD - $148,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
