Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a System Test Project Management / Principal System Test Project Management. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the **Ground Base Strategic Deterrent (GBSD)**program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What you'll get to do:

  • Serve as an overall integration function for the test program engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence for test operations and execution
  • Collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced concepts, techniques and requirements for new applications and tools
  • Coordinate schedules, and provide Liaison between the interfacing IPTs for lab utilization and access.
  • Focal Point for lab access requests and authorization coordination with security.
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings to support the System Test Team and represent Test in appropriate program reviews or boards
  • Identify and mitigate project risks throughout project life cycle
  • Support and generate proposal documentation as needed to foster new work
  • Develop and deliver high level briefings to Test Leadership
  • Provide solutions to complex problems that are consistent with the organization's objectives
  • Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes in the organization.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.
  • Performs fairly complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment.
  • Plan schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
  • Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
  • Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.
  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. May develop and deliver presentations.

  • Composed - maintains a "level head" in the extremely dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding environment, especially when working closely with Test management on projects with highly compressed timelines and tight deadlines.

  • Communicative- is able to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Is able to manage customer relationships, communicate across all levels of leadership and be highly effective in email correspondences.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either a System Test Project Management Level or Principal Test Project Management Level.

  • System Test Project Management Level: Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience and/or Master's Degree with 1 years of experience.
  • Principal Test Project Management Level: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience and/or Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance awarded within the last 6 years.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and/or other project management software tools.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • PMP certification
  • Experience in Test Laboratory stand up
  • Experience working within a Test Team
  • Experience with Engineering Procurement System and Capital/Gov't Hardware Control
  • Experience with schedule management, risk management and performance management
  • Experience facilitating Test Readiness Reviews
  • Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
  • Experience with tableau and data analytics
  • Experience with earned value management knowledge in a program management capacity
  • Capability to create and conduct high level briefings
  • Experience with high level customer engagement
  • Experience with Agile Project Management
  • Ability to work independently and multi task
  • Experience with creating and monitoring test metrics
  • Experience with facilities organization and requests for assistance (MAXIMO)

Salary Range: $58,800 USD - $88,200 USD
Salary Range 2: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
