Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst 2 for our Northridge, CA. location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide program security and personnel security (PERSEC) support to conduct initial pre-screening interviews of new hire candidates. Process all clearance actions in accordance with government and company PERSEC procedures.

  • Conduct security education and awareness training, investigate security violations and incidents. Prepare reports specifying preventive action.

  • Working knowledge of government databases: NISS, DISS, SIMS and JADE.

  • Conducts meetings, security education classes, various security briefings, and security audits, as required.

  • Serve as a records maintainer and data entry specialist within the Personnel Security Team. Primarily responsible for auditing and ensuring accuracy of documents within PERSEC files. Input information into government databases with a high rate of accuracy.

  • Input accesses into SIMS, excel, and other databases. Knowledge of electronic recordkeeping and corporate archival functions.

  • Send and receive visitor information. Process badges for long term visitors and customers.

  • Maintain and operate document control register/database; process and manage incoming and outgoing visit authorizations and visitor control.

  • Other administrative duties as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA + 6 years of experience with Security or related Administrative experience
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Special Access Program (SAP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working in a SAP environment
  • Working knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
  • Demonstrate a positive working relationship with internal and external customers
  • Working knowledge of NG and Govt. systems : DISS, JADE, SIMS
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
