    Northrop Grumman Defense Systems' C4 Missile Defense Business Unit (C4MD) has an immediate opening for a Manager of International Business Development. This position reports to Huntsville, AL, however, this position can also be worked from McLean, VA.

    This position is a critical role within the Strategy and Mission Solution team driving the Business Unit's long-term growth in the i nternational m arket. The selected candidate will be responsible for the development, assessment, and cultivation of new and existing opportunities for C4MD's Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) portfolio. The individual will work closely with a broader support team of subject matter experts from the C4MD organization, a worldwide network of commissioned sales representative and consultants, and Northrop Grumman sector and corporate business development resources to identify opportunities, devise win strategies, and influence FMS program offices and international customers.

    Primary Roles and Responsibilities Include:

    • Manage business development activities to create / shape and prioritize new business opportunities to achieve the growth goals of the division
    • Assist in creating, maintaining, and implementing an international customer engagement strategy and senior customer visit plan for international military, government, and industry leadership
    • Collaborate with adjacent Northrop Grumman offices on regional growth strategies and develop inputs for the broader sector and corporate international strategy
    • Manage the consultant and service representative agreements for the business unit
    • Track and advise on the licensing of products for the division
    • Manage the business unit's international pipeline and market data
    • Prioritize and develop (with team support) marketing content for the business unit
    • Act as primary contact for key business unit customer DOD FMS program offices
    • Interface with the division international team and assure alignment of priorities

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) domain, program, or operational experience
    • 10 years of experience related to Department of Defense (DoD) business, programs, or operational experience
    • International business development, strategy, capture, or program management experience
    • Knowledge of DoD acquisition and export policies and processes
    • Strong interpersonal skills that ensure collaborative and trusting relationships with the team, peers, customers, and leadership
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and deliver executive level presentations
    • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in business or related field
    • 20 years of experience related to Department of Defense (DoD) programs
    • 10 years of experience with international business development, capture and/or program management
    • Experience living and working in overseas, preferably in Europe; having worked at a https://U.S. Embassy in a security cooperation/attaché role would be ideal
    • Applied DoD FMS management experience
    • Direct experience working with Allies in Europe and East Asia
    • Direct experience with IAMD command and control programs
    • Knowledgeable in Customer Relationships Management (CRM) tools (https://e.g. Salesforce)

    Salary Range: $145,700 - $218,500

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
