The Lead Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for Customer Acceptance of multi-disciplinary requirements for Integrated Systems Hardware and Software installations, including in-service support, training acceptance and final acceptance and support to project closure. Act as the Test and Acceptance Manager producing and enforcing Test and Acceptance Management plans and procedures. Liaise with other teams to minimise duplication of effort and achieve consistency of quality testing across the business.
You will understand the testing requirements and design appropriate test strategies, test frameworks and activities driven towards delivering high quality software solutions. Identify and manage the production of all required test artefacts. Design, own and manage test environments, test frameworks, test tools and test data.
In this role you will lead a team of test engineers carrying out test activities, ensuring they understand and comply with appropriate quality, testing and project standards. Provide technical guidance to the customer and team on all areas testing related. Act as principle reviewer of test documentation, including formal delivery documentation and provide constructive feedback. Holding overall responsibility for maintenance of appropriate test and quality processes and documentation.
The Lead Test Engineer will be expected to be keep abreast of new test and other related technologies, identify and suggest test and other related technologies to improve efficiency and test practices.
The role will require close working and building of strong relationships with our customers on test related activities, including but not limited to managing customer acceptance testing (Factory, site and Operational Acceptance Testing). You will require a strong working knowledge of automated testing tools, frameworks and techniques and will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile/dev-ops multi-disciplined environment.
