Level 4 Sr Principal Financial Analyst - Partial Telework

Northrop Grumman has a dynamic opportunity for a Level 4 Sr Principal Financial Analyst! In this role, the analyst will be responsible for supporting financial audits, expenses monitoring against plan, support internal and external audits, and general accounting support. You will collaborate with internal customers and be involved in supporting government audits. This role is located on site in Clearfield, Utah with partial telework available.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare annual cost reporting to the government
• Implement high quality, timely and compliant Forward Pricing Rate Proposal
• Prepare, analyze, and report monthly indirect expense
• Compare to forecast and provide variance analysis
• Prepare and record monthly accounting accruals
• Support government (DCMA/DCAA) offices in compliance audits
• Support internal key partners for compliance direction
• Support the development and maintenance of interdivisional work orders
• Perform internal audits on specified areas within the company
• Annual 10K financial and tax support
• Adhoc support for government requests

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of related experience or Master's Degree with 8 years of related experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to effectively and clearly present proposals and financial impacts to all levels of organization
• Strong analytical ability with excellent detail orientation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
• Audit experience
• Ability to review and analyze data as needed
• Aerospace/Defence Industry experience
• Excellent multi-tasking ability
• Knowledge of CAS/FAR/DFARS
• Knowledge of Federal Contracting Regulations with the ability to apply sound judgment to proposal strategy, contract formation and customer relationships
• Ability to mentor less experienced team members
• Familiarity with CostPoint

Salary Range: $92,400 USD - $138,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
