Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Logistics Support 2 professional to join our team in Palmdale, CA!

Duties for this position include: Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment. Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components. Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant logistics experience

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. This clearance must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain program access (PAR). This PAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

• Able to stand at least 50% of the time

• Able to lift 25 pounds

• Able to kneel, squat, etc at least 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Logistics Experience

• Active DoD Secret clearance

• Goods Movement Experience

• Experience in the following systems: SharePoint, MES, TCMAX and SAP

Salary Range: $38,800 USD - $64,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
