Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Maintenance Janitor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in New Town, ND.

Job Duties:

• Maintains premises, rest and working areas of offices and industrial buildings in clean and orderly condition.
• Performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, or equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, or buffing floors; removing refuse; polishing furniture, fixtures, or trimmings; providing janitorial supplies; and cleaning lavatories, showers, or rest rooms.
• Custodian is responsible for keeping areas clean. They clean businesses, office spaces, warehouses and other indoor areas. Some may also complete outdoor cleaning work, such as sweeping sidewalks, washing windows, mowing grass and shoveling snow. Some work for small businesses and may be the only Custodian employed there. Some Custodians perform light maintenance work and repairs, while others could handle biohazardous materials.
• Cleaning Epoxy, linoleum, tile and other floor surfaces
• Shampooing rugs and carpets
• Emptying trash cans
• Changing air filters and cleaning vents
• Dusting disinfecting all surfaces
• Waxing floors
• Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed
• Washing windows
• Maintaining a thorough inventory
• Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners
• Collecting and taking out trash and recycling

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen
• High School Diploma or GED
• ALL Pre - Employment Contingencies are to be completed and successfully passed before CLEARED to start work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Considerable knowledge of the job. Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.
• Direct supervision and instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments.

Salary Range: $31,575 USD - $52,625 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
