    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Mgr Data Analytics 2 . This position is for Palmdale, CA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering Team working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment.
    Responsibilities:

    • Leads and plans the activities of a team that develops, transforms, and models data and/or data based systems to provide insights, enable decision making and improve performance.
    • Designs visualization and systems for consumption of analytical results; transforms raw data into actionable information. Identifies, communicates, and quantifies opportunities for leveraging analytics solutions and applying data analytics.
    • Acts as liaison with decision makers by providing data-informed strategic direction, and as a liaison with subject matter experts to obtain data sets and set expectations for potential of data analytics.
    • Optimizes organization's data collection, management, and utilization strategy.
    • Communicates the potential impact of analyses and applicable data privacy policies, procedures, and regulation.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of manufacturing engineering and/or manufacturing technology experience OR Master's Degree with 7 years of data science, data analytics experience.
    • 2 years experience in leadership/ management
    • Experience with ETL tools, data analytics platforms, and reporting services
    • Knowledge of data gathering, cleansing and transformation techniques
    • An Active, In-Scope, DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the last 5 years
    • Ability to attain Special Program Access

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of leadership/management experience
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills to communicate effectively at all levels of management and to individual contributors
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
    • Proficient in Python
    • Current Special Program Access
    • Program capture execution from EMD through FRP
    • Understanding of Engineering, Tooling, Production, Program Management and GSC Subcontracts processes
    • Siemens NX, TeamCenter, SAP, and Manufacturing Execution Systems
    • Understanding of Agile principles and related tools; Jira, Confluence

    Salary Range: $134,600 - $201,800

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
