This is a dual-role manager position with people-management responsibilities, ensuring successful performance of an Engineering team; as well as individual work on several programs and capital projects.
Management responsibilities : The Manager will lead a team of 5-10 engineers who work on various programs, providing production hardware test and development engineering support in RF, digital and power supply areas. The Manager will perform yearly goal setting; evaluate performance; enable skill development and career growth; monitor compliance with department processes and company values; provide team leadership and engagement; and approve weekly time charging. The Manager will also interact with program business areas to coordinate staffing and other program support (https://e.g. proposal reviews, customer meetings, capital and NCTA planning).
Technical responsibilities : The manager will spend ~75% of their time supporting various program products through the production test cycle or capital funded project. This includes effective management oversight, managing manpower and providing technical oversight to the project as well as communicating the project's status to Program or Business Management. The Manager will work with the engineers on their team to support the programs, troubleshoot hardware, identify trends, lead root cause corrective action investigations, monitor and maintain test yields , production test sets and spare parts to ensure on time product deliveries.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills; and will have strong leadership experience. He/she will be able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Will have an ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across the sector business areas as needed to accomplish team and department goals. Will be able to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching.

Salary Range: $141,100 - $211,700
