This position is located in Warner Robins, GA and will be the Mission Assurance Manager for the AAQ-24 program. The selected candidate will report to the Director of Quality and Mission Assurance for the Platform Sustainment and Mission Readiness (PSMR) Business Unit (BU) and Systems and Software Solutions (SSS) Operating Unit (OU). The AAQ-24 Mission Assurance Manager will be functionally responsible for all Quality Program activities. This includes Quality Program Plan development and maintenance to assure compliance to contractual requirements as well as Site, Division, Sector and Corporate quality policies, processes and procedures. The AAQ-24 Mission Assurance Manager will also ensure the total integration of quality requirements throughout all phases of planning, procurement, production, test, delivery and post-delivery support. Participation in the preparation and approval of project work packages, schedules, cost estimates and budgets will be required. This position will also have overall responsibility for driving the corrective action process complimentary to the established nonconforming material control system to ensure both timely and effective root cause analyses and preventative actions to support direct responses to Internal Issues, Customer Complaints and Supplier Discrepancies. The AAQ-24 Mission Assurance Manager will also be responsible for supporting mission requirements, and ensuring process and product visibility status is provided to OU, BU, Division and Sector Senior Leadership.

The successful candidate must possess a complete and thorough understanding of all facets of Quality as well as proven leadership, managerial, and communication skills across all levels of the company. The candidate must have a superior ability to establish and nurture an excellent working relationship with all Customers both internal and external.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the daily operations of the AAQ-24 Mission Assurance team to include providing leadership and development support to team members
  • Establish and maintain open communication and serve as the quality assurance liaison with internal and external customers, suppliers, management, and Defense Contract Management Agency representatives
  • Demonstrate knowledge of technical specifications, drawings, product hardware and software requirements, and the detailed process flow of depot line-replaceable or shop-replaceable unit repairs
  • Monitor and measure Quality Process Control areas using statistical techniques for reject or failure analysis, metrics reporting, and contractual CDRL requirements in order to drive process improvements.
  • Ensure the AAQ-24 program maintains compliance to current AS9100 standards and ensure established policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Provide cost estimates, track program spending and variances, and effectively collect, analyze, organize, and present data

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years Quality Assurance experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain FAA Repairman Certification.
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100.
  • Strong metrics/data analytics background.
  • Experience working with DCMA representatives.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, MRO, Team Center, and/or ReadyBlue
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts, process, and tools.
  • Experience with the Corrective/Preventive Action process, root-cause analysis.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with supplier/procurement quality
  • Experience working with Material Review Boards and Corrective Action and Failure Review Boards.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean Principles
  • Efficient at MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other office systems
  • ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 trained auditor
  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
  • Aerospace and Defense Industry experience

Salary Range: $96,700 - $145,100

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
