We are seeking a cleared or clearable Software Engineering Manager for a critical role in our engineering organization to be responsible for managing a team and ensuring successful completion of projects.
This is a dual role position, involving direct management of talented team of high performing multi-discipline engineers as well as project engineering leadership for technically advanced development programs to produce cutting edge hardware and/or software products at the Xetron facility that support National Defense partners. The products produced at this facility support all domains of intelligence and defense battle-spaces including land, sea, air, cyber, and space. Many of the problem-sets our customers expect us to solve do not have known solutions, so ingenuity is essential.
We have a preference for candidates with experience in multiple relevant technology areas, such as software development, RF hardware development, electromechanical packaging, FPGA firmware development, or DSP algorithm development. Ideal candidates for this position have extensive breadth and depth of knowledge in all aspects of engineering. Less experienced candidates that demonstrate high technological aptitude with a willingness and desire to learn are equally qualified for this position.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Salary Range: $108,700 USD - $163,100 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
