Are You Ready to put your management experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems is seeking a Product Support Manager 1 for a position based in Palmdale, CA.

In this position, You will have direct supervisory or management responsibilities for more than one integrated support element, including systems analysis, spares, provisioning, technical data, training, maintenance or modifications, support equipment and facilities.

Your Duties include:

Responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs). Responsibilities include cost, schedule, and technical performance of a specific unit or work package on a life cycle support type contract or broad responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a delivery order or small technical services-type contract.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and a High School diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate technical discipline and 4 years of specialized experience may also be considered.
  • Willing/able to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
  • A current DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission is a condition of employment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid https://U.S. passport.
  • Ability to accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 180 days away from primary work location.
  • Ability to comply with mobility requirements and meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • 6 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Full working knowledge of procedures and practices within assigned functional area.
  • Aviation and Aerospace Industry Operational supervisory experience
  • An excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, database software, relevant authoring utilities and software, or related development tools.

Salary Range: $101,800 - $152,800

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
