Selected thought-leader will define, author, and present NGC's Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) strategy to develop unparalleled analytical tools, processes and workforce with vision of ensuring NGC is the recognized industry leader when it comes to CEM technologies, capabilities and subject matter experts.
Candidate should possess basic and advanced knowledge of Low Observables / Radar Cross Section (aka Stealth) engineering. Candidate should also have professional recognition /credibility within DoD LO CEM community to facilitate engagements and/or partnerships leading to future business capture opportunities.
Leveraging disruptive technologies (e.g. High Performance Computing, Advanced Mathematical Algorithms, Optimization algorithms, RF materials, etc.), the candidate will lead development of innovative methods and tools to promote NGC's competitive standing within the DOD's LO enterprise. This candidate will also have the ability to participate on independent review teams, uncover and resolve complex challenges, and present results to all levels of leadership.
Candidate must have multi-disciplinary knowledge to effectively serve as technical lead, consultant, or participant to various legacy and advanced LO programs, and advise multiple levels of management on technical research, applications, and long-range business planning.
Job Description
The NG Computational Electromagnetics Fellow will be staff to the Survivability National Director supporting advanced development programs and technology research and development (R&D). This position could be based in Redondo Beach, CA, Palmdale, CA, San Diego, CA, Oklahoma City, OK, or Melbourne, FL. Pay scale may alter based on location.

Salary Range: $165,000 USD - $302,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
