Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking either a Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst or a Senior Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
The selected candidate will become an integral part of a Home Room team tasked with providing process and procedure guidance, training, and compliance support to the NGAS suite of programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Planning, Program Control, and Earned Value Management activities and requirements. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

Essential Functions:

  • Review, analysis and corrective action assessment on common cost / schedule management data artifacts including IPMR, IMPDAR, CFSR, Estimate At Completion (EAC), Variance Analysis Reports (VAR), reconciliation logs, etc
  • Monthly review of DCMA Earned Value Compliance Metrics (DECM) for independent analysis of program risk areas and reporting of issues to senior management
  • Serve as the EVM focal point between technical, cost, schedule, and program management teams
  • Build partnerships to support execution while maintaining compliant EVM implementation in accordance with EIA-748 and corporate command media
  • Prepare analysis in support of monthly NGAS Sector cost/schedule metrics reviews
  • Facilitate Variance Analysis Report (VAR) and Estimate at Complete (EAC) development and approval
  • Provide guidance, oversight, and approval of program baseline implementation and changes
  • Support Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) reviews/audits
  • Lead and participate in both internal and subcontractor EVMS surveillance
  • Identify and implement EVM process & procedure updates and improvements
  • Develop and deliver Program Execution, EVM, Agile, and Best Practice training to build a shared understanding and increased capability of compliance and best practices in order to support program execution
  • Earned Value Management principles, practical knowledge of EIA-748 standards, experience with Customer, Internal, and DCMA Earned Value surveillance activities
  • Common cost management tools such as MPM and / or COBRA
  • Common scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or Open Plan

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst level or a Senior Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst level

Basic Qualifications for Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of cost/schedule management and/or business-related experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years of stated experience
  • Experience with EVM
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance and Special Program Access (Clearance not required to start)

Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of cost/schedule management and/or business-related experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of stated experience
  • Experience with EVM
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance and Special Program Access (Clearance not required to start)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with common cost management tools such as MPM
  • Experience with compliance type reviews ensuring programs adhere to specific rules, regulations, and guidance materials
  • Experience with scheduling (MS Project, Primavera, or Open Plan (OPP))
  • Experience with Cobra or Empower
  • Experience interfacing with government audit agencies such as the DCMA and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)

Salary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $89,800 USD - $134,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
