Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Systems Engineer 3/4 based out of Boulder, CO. You will be responsible for ensuring design requirements at the system, subsystem, and component level are defined and implemented. Work will include coordinating with technical teams to understand at a high-level the complex, multi-disciplinary problems, software components, and designs implemented by the team; in addition to planning and coordinating team projects, team reviews, and customer demonstrations. You are expected to communicate technical information effectively and clearly as a technical interface to the customer, and report status to colleagues including customers and program management.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Drives the engineering process development, continuous improvement, and affordability initiatives within their program

• Basic skills in Matlab or Python and system modeling
• Experience in tracking and prediction algorithms , simulation, validation, and algorithms
• Ground systems experience in mission processing, ground communications, and space operations
• Experience in the numerical implementation of motion filters.
• Familiarity with Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) and Electro-Optical Infrared (EOIR) sensors and simulations
• Experience with PERL, STK, or logging and parsing tools
• Linux experience
• Strong statistical background and skills
• Experience with model-based engineering
Salary Range: $101,400 USD - $152,200 USD
Salary Range 2: $125,800 USD - $188,600 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
