The Payload and Ground Systems organization within the Northrop Grumman Space Systems pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances in various sciences. Our team is chartered with providing the skills, innovative technologies to develop, design, produce and sustain optimized product lines across the sector while providing a decisive advantage to the warfighter. As the Principal Software Configuration Analyst you will manage, all software and documentation assigned to the program.This position will be based in **CO Springs, Colorado.**In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, maintain, coordinate the configuration management and document management processes to include process improvement.
  • Documentation and Software Inventory Management.
  • Perform spot checks to ensure process and system quality.
  • Actively use knowledge of Systems Engineering and Agile Development Methodologies to support the software development lifecycle.
  • Use Configuration Management tools and system auditing to support a fast-paced software delivery program.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering that can support the software configuration management needed on our program

This position can filled at a level 3 or 4 based on the basic qualifications below.Basic Qualifications: Principal Software Configuration Analyst BQ:

  • Must have 5 or more years of Document Management experience with Bachelors in Science or 3 Years of Document Management experience with Masters
  • Must have Software configuration database management experience
  • Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain a Counter Intelligence Polygraph

Sr. Principal Software Configuration Analyst BQ:

  • Must have 9 or more years of Document Management experience with Bachelors in Science OR 3 Years of Document Management experience with Master
  • Must have Software configuration database management experience
  • Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain a Counter Intelligence Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Inventory system tracking experience
  • Experience with software build procedure creation
  • Experience with software configuration management tools
  • Experience with Systems Integration and System/Software Testing, including virtualized environments, test environments and operational environments
  • Working knowledge in test plan/procedure preparation and test execution
  • Knowledge of DevOps pipeline implementation

Salary Range: $83,800 USD - $125,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $103,900 USD - $155,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
