Northrop Grumman Rolling Meadows Software and Digital Technologies (SWDT) Organization is searching for qualified candidates to support a high performing Program Execution Team (PET) consisting of process, configuration management, and Agile operations staff supporting the development teams serving our government military customers.
The position of PET Department Head is dual-role with two primary functions: PET Manager and Functional Manager.
As a PET Manager, the position serves all three of our business units: Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM), Radio Frequency Combat Information Systems (RFCIS), and Targeting. The position has authority and accountability for process, Configuration Management (CM), and Agile Operations across the SWDT organization conducting programs for those business units.
As a Functional Manager, this position will provide front line management of up to 15 process, CM, and Agile engineers supporting various programs within the organization.
The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate strong leadership skills and will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Due to current COVID conditions, this position can start as mostly remote with occasional on site travel expected. This will be assessed every 6 months to determine if full on-site presence becomes required.
PET Department Head responsibilities will include:
Salary Range: $137,000 USD - $205,600 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
