    Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is looking for a mid to senior level position in the Program Management Organization to support the Mission Critical Programs Operating Unit.

    The selected candidate will be expected to define, create, and manage the program(s) infrastructure (facilities, Information Technology, and associated items) and identify improvement opportunities related to all aspects of Program Infrastructure. This position requires coordinating with various program Integrated Product Teams and communicating/presenting to senior leadership on the health of projects. The successful candidate will be able to execute and communicate key concepts in support of program objectives. The successful candidate should have good project management skills and must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

    Description : The Program Integration Infrastructure Lead will support the Program Integration (PI) Manager with tasks and logistics that enable program leadership to achieve operational excellence. The PI Infrastructure Lead will be responsible for seamless integration and execution of Mission Critical Program's portfolio and growth activities with a primary focus on facilitating Infrastructure standup and maintenance and all technical support needs to support end-to-end program plans. Additionally, the successful candidate will facilitate cross-IPT discussions to support facilities, infrastructure, and other technical requirements.

    Other duties will include support to program office planning and communication, facility planning, Infrastructure (workspace, dev. Environments, integration facilities, and multi-level security IT); program review/customer meeting coordination.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage project technical execution of program internal deliverables.
    • Provide support to Program Integration group to ensure the program is mission capable, supportable, reliable, and maintainable.
    • Provide briefings to leadership and program management at IPT reviews and at major program milestones.
    • Deliver presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders.
    • Identify, distribute, track, and complete program requirements.
    • Adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.
    • Development and adherence to master plans and schedules.
    • Conduct risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation, and realization.
    • Gather project requirements and manage work to meet strategic program and facilities requirements.
    • Organize, maintain, and display "big picture" strategic and tactical plans.
    • Document workflows and identify process improvements, including create data visualizations and dashboard summaries for executive-level management.

    Please note, there is 2 openings for this position. One position is located on-site in Gilbert, AZ and the second position is located on-site in Dulles, VA.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 9+ years of engineering experience OR Master's degree in STEM discipline with 7+ years of engineering experience OR PhD in STEM discipline with 4+ years of engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, 13 years of applicable experience will be considered.
    • Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.S. Government security clearances: SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years OR Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
    • Experience creating process and requirements documentations.
    • Manage multiple tasks with drive to closure.
    • Must be highly detail-oriented and a skilled communicator with excellent presentation abilities.
    • Self-motivated.
    • Proficiency in MS Power Point, Visio, Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • 5 years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager.
    • The ability to identify and address program impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution.
    • Should be able to autonomously assess complex problems and decompose them into a plan of action while coordinating across a large and diverse team of program, business, and technical SMEs.
    • Consistently makes time to seek and incorporate input from customers and understand their expectations.
    • Demonstrates commitment and energy to meet customer needs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong technical background and communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely brief executive forums.
    • The ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored, and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program and stakeholder needs.
    • Previous technical program integration experience is preferred.

    Salary Range: $106,400 USD - $184,800 USD

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
