Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking an SCA Supply Technician 1 to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at *Gowen Field *near Boise, Idaho.
    This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.
    Responsibilities:

    • Performs technical supply management work (inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to Mission Training Complex (MTC) supply activities and reports to the Operations Team Manager

    • Prioritizes work by commodity area or function, and allocates time in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility

    • Catalogues inventory via bar code scan

    • Ensures all government-furnished equipment is properly hand-receipted at end-user level

    • Assists in ordering expendable and durable supplies

    • Coordinates with Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) when a government vehicle is required

    • Assists the Facilities Manager with building maintenance and repairs and prepares work and service orders as required

    • Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty

    • Considers program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines

    • Performs other duties as assigned

    This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position with SCA rate of $29.00/hour with applicable health and welfare benefits.
    Basic Qualifications:

    • One of the following:

    • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience working with U.S. Army Supply and Property Book procedures

    • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience working with U.S. Army Supply and Property Book procedures

    • Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience working with U.S. Army Supply and Property Book procedures

    • Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance

    • Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines

    • Must be able to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds

    • Must be able to work on-site at Gowen Field near Boise, Idaho

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • At least 20 years of experience with Army Supply and Property Book procedures

    *Salary Range: *$29 - $29
    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
