We are looking for you to join our team as a Senior PNT Systems Architect based out of Woodland Hills, CA. The Future Positioning Navigation Timing Systems (FPNTS) team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for a senior technical leader to join our team as an Advanced PNT Systems Architect. This person will provide technical leadership of our navigation research and development portfolio for military applications and is based out of Woodland Hills, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or STEM related discipline with 15 years of directly related experience.
Recognized experience with timekeeping systems (e.g. oscillators, atomic frequency standards, frequency metrology).
Recognized experience with GPS and GNSS receiver design and applications
Recognized experience with GPS anti-jam systems and techniques
Recognized experience with integrated RF systems (e.g. comms, electronic warfare).
Experience working Government-funded R&D programs.
Security clearance with current background investigation.
A successful candidate will be comfortable with loosely-defined problems, have a demonstrated ability to think creatively, and draw upon a variety of sources for ideas and solutions.
Self-motivated and independently able to develop innovative approaches to diverse technical challenges and see them through to realization
Salary Range: $188,300 USD - $282,500 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
