    Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer/ Principal Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

    What you'll get to do:
    The selected candidate will be part of the Command and Launch Communications Team.
    Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

    • Modeling, Simulation & Analysis for specific aspects of the system.
    • Support requirement decomposition and traceability.
    • Support MBSE strategy and implementation.
    • Coordinate with sub-contracted product teams for compliance with contractual SOW and established program model governance.
    • Contribute content for presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

    This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

    You'll bring these qualifications:
    This requisition may be filled at either a Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer.

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
    • A minimum 2 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; 0 years with a Master's. (Principal level requires 5 years with a bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Master's degree; or 0 years with a PhD)
    • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years (or in continues evaluation)
    • U.S. Citizenship with a bility to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)

    These qualifications would be nice to have:

    • Experience with Communication Systems
    • Experience with DOD and/or Missile Systems
    • Experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, STK and/or other analytical modeling tools
    • Experience with communications system analysis (Familiar with network architecture and analyses)
    • Experience with Agile development
    • Experience with Atlassian Products such as JIRA, Confluence, ext.
    • Experience with Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML

    Salary Range: $73,400 USD - $110,000 USD
    Salary Range 2: $90,400 USD - $135,600 USD

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
