Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services organization is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Test and DevOps team in Next Gen Technologies. We are a team of developers, system admins, technologists, and agile practitioners. Test & DevOps helps support the broader vision of the Enterprise by enabling cultural and digital transformation. You will be part of a team that focuses on continuous improvement, learning, and collaboration to help support Northrop Grumman's larger mission critical projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support development teams deploying web applications in Kubernetes based architectures
  • Partner with software development teams to build CI/CD pipelines and improve software development capabilities
  • Explore automation opportunity and develop tools to automate some of the day to day operations tasks
  • Participate in team meetings with other technical staff and business owners and subject matter experts.
  • Provide performance metrics and maintain dashboards to reflect production systems health
  • Experiment with new tools to streamline the development, testing, deployment, and running of our data pipelines.
  • Assess and develop high-level design requirements for the project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development teams. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or related Engineering disciplines

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as Software Developer or related field

  • Knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Build and Continuous Deployment Practices

  • Experience using and managing CI/CD tools, like Jenkins and Azure DevOps

  • Demonstrated Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps Principles

  • Development experience with languages like Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript

  • Experience with Containers and Kubernetes

  • Experience managing resources with Infra as Code tools, like Ansible and Terraform

  • AWS or Azure certifications

  • Work effectively within teams where other team members may be located throughout the country

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodology
  • Experience with specifically with Azure DevOps
  • Experience specifically with OpenShift and EKS
  • Expert Windows and Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning and proven Automation/Coding experience

Salary Range: $92,000 USD - $138,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
