Enterprise Services, in support of NGMS, is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to provide leadership and support for the Mission Systems Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) program. This program consolidates multiple existing PLM systems into an advanced PLM environment that forms the foundation for the Digital Transformation of NGMS Engineering and Manufacturing. The PLM environment contains Engineering and Manufacturing product and process data for the sector and will integrate with other software systems including ERP, MES and multiple CAD/Engineering tools. This role provides existing opportunity to work on implementing Digital Threads and Digital Twins, that are exciting in the current end to end digital product simulation environment.
The selected Software Engineer will work to analyze, design, build and implement software changes to deliver the future sector wide PLM system. They will work in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment with many teams across the country. The teams are working with Engineering and Manufacturing to drive requirements and create a PLM system for the future. The position will provide ample opportunity to learn from and work with seasoned engineers in the program.
This position considers FULL-TIME teleworking option from any part of the US.
Responsibilities include:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and/or any engineering discipline with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience; 3 years with a Master's degree.
• Demonstrated experience with C++, and Java coding
• Proven ability to effectively work with teams that are located throughout the country
• Experienced with applying engineering techniques and analytical methods to make recommendations for improvements and provide information and assistance to end-users.
• Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with customizing/enhancing Teamcenter Unified or any other PLM product such as ENOVIA and/or ERP system such as SAP
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and Git or any other DevOps tools environment
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
• Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary Range: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $114,300 USD - $171,500 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
