Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector (NGDS) is currently seeking a Senior Principal Contract Administrator to join the Lifecycle Sustainment & Modernization Solutions Operating Unit in Oklahoma City, OK, or virtually as a full-time teleworker . This position requires a strong background in DOD contracting, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player, but also an independent contributor, will be proactive, will present leadership skills, will possess good analytical skills, will demonstrate problem-solving skills, and will be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities :

  • Interfaces with customers and business partners, conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration
  • Examines proposal requirements and estimates, prepares bids, analyzes terms and conditions to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
  • Processes contractual documentation and reports, advises management of contractual rights and obligations, compiles and analyzes data, and maintains historical information
  • Facilitates proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries, interfacing with DCMA or customer as required via Wide Area Workflow
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports and maintains the contracts databases in the Corporate Contracts Management System (CMS)
  • Interacts daily with customer representatives
  • Duties may also include the preparation of proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, export licenses/agreements, and various types of memoranda

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 14 years of relevant experience
  • Will consider 10 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree or 8 year of relevant experience with Master's
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a https://U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
  • Prior working experience with FAR/DFARS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of contract administration experience
  • Self-starter with excellent analytical and communication skills, the ability to work independently, multi-task, prioritize work load, and mentor a team
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Work on-site in Oklahoma City, OK

Salary Range: $87,500 - $145,900

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
