The Propulsion Engineering group is hiring for a Senior Principal Engineering professional at our Chandler, AZ location.

Position Overview
Perform analysis, design, or test of one or more moderately complex materials (including energetics), structural components, and control systems for propulsion systems. Apply engineering principles, industry standards, company standards and customer requirements to develop propulsion systems (electric, solid/liquid fuel rocket, air-breathing, thrusters) for application in launch vehicles, missile systems, and space mission systems. Coordinate strategy for developing and leveraging multi-disciplinary design, optimization, and analysis processes to support mission requirements. Define and coordinate the conduct of testing required to evaluate design work. Oversee procurement of ordnance and pneumatics components. Closely integrate with global supply chain to ensure all requirements are properly flowed down to suppliers and ensure 100% compliance. Design and qualify pneumatics and ordnance devices.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 9 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in STEM with 7 years of related engineering experience. or 4 years of experience with PhD.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading Global Supply Chain
Working closely with Supplier Quality Engineering both internal/external
Understanding flow down of contractual requirements
Security Clearance

Salary Range: $112,000 USD - $168,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
