The Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Digital Products department located in Redondo Beach, CA has an opening for an experienced Staff Digital Design Engineer. The selected candidate will work on design, and development of digital units containing multiple digital boards.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Unit level requirements development, management, and flow down, Coordination with System engineering
• Unit level architecture development
• Understanding of PCB physical design and worse case analysis
• Understanding of parts selection and managing parts procurement
• Understanding of Circuit Design
• Support unit level manufacturing, assembly and test, engineering model and flight hardware
• Support Unit verification, test-set development, environmental testing
• Support subsystem level Integration & test.

The ideal candidate has team leadership and with hands-on lab experience. Must have good interpersonal and management skills and able to work well in a team environment. Must have good oral and written communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• STEM Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with 14 years of experience; 12 years with a STEM Master's degree ; or 9 years with a STEM PhD. degree
• Experience in Digital Board and Unit Design
• Ability obtain and maintain a Security clearance

• Active DoD Security Clearance

Salary Range: $171,600 USD - $257,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
