Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of crossfunctional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Execution/Lead/Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external.
• Performing tolerance analysis to ensure form/fit/function.
• Conduct root cause failure investigations and implement associated corrective actions.
• Lead and Assist Product Development Team with new product designs to ensure manufacturability, validate process/ technology.
• Visit US based suppliers and customers as needed to support fabrication and integration of tooling - Visit international based suppliers and customers as needed to support fabrication and integration of tooling.

Basic Qualifications:

• 15+ Years of experience with Bachelors; 13+ Years experience with Masters; or 30+ Years of experience with a HS Diploma.
• Ability to work any schedule, including weekend support as needed to support the mission - This person must have the ability to mentor less experienced engineers, and work autonomously without direct supervision

Salary Range: $132,700 - $199,100

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
