Responsibilities will encompass the full range of the procurement acquisition process including preparation and execution of a mixed portfolio of subcontracts while ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures as well as public law requirements. This position can be hired at a level 2 or a level 3. Specific tasks will include:

• Sourcing and procuring specialized goods and services.
• Owns contractual management for the supplier.
• Responsible for source selection from contract proposal to execution phases.
• Coordinates and collaborates with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program and end-users.
• Develops bid packages to include subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services. May conduct bidder conferences.
• Analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts.
• In conjunction with quality organization, evaluates and monitors supplier quality and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required delivery schedules.
• Identifies strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited institution
-Years of experience:
Level 3: 6+ years of supply chain, procurement, business management and/or related experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 4+ years of supply chain, procurement, business management and/or related with a Master's Degree.
Level 2: 3+ years of supply chain, procurement, business management and/or related experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 1+ years of supply chain, procurement, business management and/or related with a Master's Degree
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences
-Proficiency in MS Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:
-Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
-Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a challenging environment
-SAP experience
-Demonstrated experience with multiple contracting formats, including Firm Fixed Price and/or Cost Reimbursable.
-Demonstrated experience with Commercial Item Determinations.

Salary Range: $64,400 USD - $96,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $79,800 USD - $119,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
