    This is an exciting time to join our expanding team spearheading the design, supply, installation and commissioning of our cutting-edge Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) facility, strategically located near the picturesque town of Exmouth, Western Australia.
    DARC is a global network of three next-generation ground sensors, based in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Together, they will deliver a unique 24/7 all-weather capability, tracking objects in geosynchronous orbit - a testament to Northrop Grumman's commitment to enhancing security and safety in deep space on a global scale.
    Your Role:

    • Manage on-site Integration and Test (I&T) activities for the DARC system, ensuring seamless coordination of systems engineering processes.

    • Oversee the integration of systems, subsystems, products, and external interfaces, with a focus on requirements, design, and verification.

    • Collaborate with international teams, including remote SEIT experts from the US and Australia, to achieve high-quality outcomes.

    • Identify and mitigate risks and issues in a low-support environment to ensure project success.

    • Apply Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle knowledge to uphold technical assurance and quality standards.

    • Work closely with defence stakeholders to meet integration and testing objectives, ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge technology
      About You:

    • Hold a Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) with qualifications or training in Systems Engineering, and be eligible for Professional Engineer registration with Engineers Australia.

    • Demonstrate hands-on experience in satellite ground stations or radar systems, showcasing practical problem-solving expertise.

    • Proficient in requirements management, traceability, compliance, and associated tools such as DOORs, underpinned by a strong Systems Engineering foundation.

    • Thrive in independent and remote work environments, while being capable of leading and collaborating within diverse teams.

    • Adept at solving complex technical problems collaboratively, with a proven track record of delivering results.

    • Experience in SATCOM ground station or large RADAR system installation and maintenance will distinguish you as a highly desirable candidate.
