Systems Engineer Secret Clearance - Aircraft Mission Planning (AHT)

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for a Systems Engineer based out of Manhattan Beach, CA. Our Team works on state of the art Mission Planning systems.

Responsibilities Include:

• Developing system and subsystem requirements from user mission needs, and tracking requirements throughout the development process.
• Working closely with developers to ensure software satisfies requirements.
• Well versed in agile software development and performing collaboration between self-organizing cross-functional scrum teams.
• Participate in risk analysis and mitigation formation.
• Support program reviews and creating and/or updating requirement specifications and technical baseline documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree with 2 years experience or a Master's degree in STEM or a High school Diploma / Equivalent and 6 years experience may be accepted in lieu if degree.
• 1 year of work experience with requirements management
• A Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access (Must be a U.S. Citizen).

Principal Systems Engineer Requirements:

• 5+ years relevant experience with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree from an accredited institution; 3 years with Master's degree
• 3 years of work experience with requirements management
• C#
• Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access

Salary Range: $82,400 USD - $123,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
