Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Requirements, Design, and Integration Lead (Systems Engineering Manager 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This leadership position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
The selected candidate will lead a team of Embedded Systems Engineers reporting to the Mission Systems Director/IPT lead. The candidate will work with the Chief Mission Architect, the MS Subsystem Leads and the SEIT IPT to develop the Mission Systems segment architecture and segment requirements.
Responsible to lead requirements analyses; develop and manage the functional allocations; develop in conjunction with the subsystems lead and the MS Subsystems Tech Director the segment and subsystem external interfaces.
Responsible to represent the MS IPT for all Systems Engineering meetings.
Responsible to lead the development of all System Engineering documentation.
Responsible to support the SEIT IPT in the overall planning and execution of all required reviews (e.g., SRR, SFR, Design Reviews, etc.).
The candidate will also serve as the coordinating element between the subsystem leads and their teams for all inter-subsystem coordination challenges, issues and opportunities.
The candidate will lead the team to analyze the requirements, perform necessary trades; support subsystem leads in writing RFIs/RFQs/RFPs; support subsystem leads in writing specifications and statements of work (SOWs).
Responsible to support subsystem leads in identifying vendor products; support the subsystem leads in technical evaluation of vendor products (performance, cost, schedule, and risk).
Responsible to support capture activities to include writing sections of a Technical Volume; developing and integrating sections of the program Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS); researching and leveraging past performance to develop and defend the Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for the Cost Volume.
The candidate must be able to plan, work, and status to a budget; develop, review, and present materials to senior management and Customers; work across IPTs for a system solution; and provide technical and managerial oversight to ensure high quality deliverable products (e.g., CDRLs, test models, manufacturing plans, etc.).
The candidate must be well organized with excellent writing skills, adaptable, and have a strong knowledge of advanced sensor integration and performance. Top Secret preferred.

Salary Range: $147,700 USD - $221,500 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
