    Position summary

    s sector in our preferred location Orlando, Florida, Huntsville, AL, DC metro area and other major sites. May consider telework as an option but quarterly onsite meetings may be required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with capture teams to research, develop, and document solutions in preparation for proposals
    • Independently gather information from existing material and subject matter experts.
    • Work with teams to convert complex documentation to proposal material that's easy to understand and score
    • In response to Requests for Proposal (RFP), outline, write, and edit in accordance with Request for Proposal instructions and evaluation criteria
    • Work with graphics artists to design material that communicates complex material efficiently and effectively
    • Work with proposal managers/teams effectively. Deliver all materials on schedule to meet all milestone, review, and submission deadlines.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Technical Editor/Writer (level 2)

    • At least 3 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree; or 1 years experience with Master's Degree. In lieu of formal degree, High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 7 years of relevant experience as a technical writer and/or proposal related roles.
    • Proven working experience in technical writing in support of competitive DoD, Intel, and/or Federal proposals including OTAs
    • Ability to grasp a variety of complex technical domains and make them easy to understand in writing and in graphics
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
    • Ability to travel 25% of the time, CONUS and OCONUS

    Principal Technical Editor/Writer (level 3)

    • At least 6 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree; or 4 years experience with Master's Degree. In lieu of formal degree, High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 10 years of relevant experience as a technical writer and/or proposal related roles.
    • Proven working experience in technical writing in support of competitive DoD, Intel, and/or Federal proposals including OTAs
    • Ability to grasp a variety of complex technical domains and make them easy to understand in writing and in graphics
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
    • Ability to travel 25% of the time, CONUS and OCONUS

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Degree in writing/communications and/or technical degree in engineering
    • Experience as a proposal analyst, proposal manager, volume lead, or cost strategist
    • Experience writing Basis of Estimates
    • Strong knowledge of Sharepoint, Teams
    • Experience with proposal tools such as Visible Thread, Meridian, etc.
    • Experience in digital engineering, modeling, and related disciplines
    • Active DOD (Department of Defense) security clearance

    Salary Range: $58,000 - $95,600
    Salary Range 2: $71,400 - $117,700

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
