About the role**

We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Business Partner to play a critical role in developing talent within our largest organization: Sales. In this high-impact role, you will partner with senior leaders, executives, and People Business Partners in Sales to understand needs and priorities and further consult on solutions using existing and new solutions. You will have ownership of creating enablement plans aligned with business strategy and priorities to develop employee capability to meet the business objectives more successfully, especially to address gaps in capability and/or performance. The L&D Business Partner is responsible for incorporating leading practices and innovative solutions into the program requirements specific to the sales function. You will define the Sales & Marketing Talent Segment policy requirements for the purpose of enhancing the employee experience and maintaining the business' competitive advantage.

As the L&D Business Partner for Sales, you will:

  • Develop a future-focused learning strategy and impactful programs for the Sales organization
  • Build relationships with sales leaders, and managers as a valued partner in the business to identify priorities and own the learning experience
  • Identify development solutions within the defined L&D strategy finding a balance between generic and customized solutions
  • Create strategic development plans aligned with business priorities for different groups within sales
  • Lead the strategic and tactical development of learning programs and experiences based on business needs and strategic goals for Sales, with accountability for all project deliverables including identifying gaps, and recommending solutions while working within people business partners
  • Develop globally scalable and aligned learning solutions, including program design and delivery strategy, and run diagnostics and assessment/evaluation to refine program design using data and analytics to support continuous improvement of programs (such as reducing cost, improving program quality/satisfaction, and demonstrating the value to the business)
  • Partner with HR and the business segments to define and build transformation and change capabilities specific to sales
  • Foster increased communication and stronger alignment with the Sales enablement function
  • Provide direction to the creation and delivery of learning solutions that support the client group priorities

About you:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
  • You come with 10+ years of experience in a learning and development role with expertise in  presenting, facilitation, and consulting
  • You’ve worked with sales client groups for 5+ years
  • You are highly experienced in leading global and complex initiatives for the business, focused on a field-based talent population
  • You’re adept at directly leading projects that require executive presence and influence with senior leader stakeholders in the business (Vice President/ Senior Director level) across global regions
