QA Manager (AIOps)

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a seasoned Engineering leader with extensive experience in managing highly motivated QA/Automation engineers to qualify our AIOps product/features. The role is tasked with bringing a level of expertise, clarity in the software quality life cycle,  clear release guidance, maintaining and improving the overall product quality of our products. This requires the ability to cross-collaboration with the Development, UI/UX engineers, Support, and PM team. The role encompasses influencing product quality by leveraging the vast knowledge of the product portfolio and ensuring a quality-first mindset.

Your role:

• Manage a team of Quality/Automation engineers on their day-to-day activities. 
• Define test strategy, detailed test plan, automation plan, resource plan and identify risks/dependencies for each of the projects involved within release timelines
• Develop preliminary test schedule and ensure schedule syncs with existing release and environment schedules/cycles of older release cycles and systems
• Provide clear delivery milestones and track consistently to successful product delivery
• Help the team to achieve 100% automation with high-quality test automation scripts
• Facilitate the team in resolving technical issues
• Timely reports and escalation to management with current project status quality metrics, bug reports, and release readiness
• Maintain Quality Index (QI) at a very high level between releases 
• Performing quality assurance audits to ensure that the organization meets industry standards for best practices and help define, implement and improve company quality standards
• Conducting training sessions for new team members to ensure that they understand their roles in the QA process
• End-to-end product quality ownership with all aspects of the test, automation, and delivery of the feature set.
• Drive constant ways to improve existing test frameworks/libraries, automated tests, and overall test execution efficiency.
• Encourage teams in proactive participation in providing active feedback to improve overall product experience and expansion.

**What you will bring:

**

• 10+ experience in QA, Automation using Python/Perl/C/C++/Java/Go (python preferred)
• 2+ years of QA management experience in multiple Software releases
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• Strong working experience with Linux and Distributed Software Systems.
• In-Depth working knowledge of virtualization - VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V
• Deep understanding using version control systems such as GIT, build management tools, and Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins/CircleCI
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and task prioritization skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and good verbal and written communication skills.
