Salesforce Admin

Nutanix’s SaaS Engineering team is looking for a Salesforce Administrator. The Salesforce Administrator will take care of the ongoing administrative functions and code deployments. The ideal team member will be able to think outside of the box and should have a real passion for building analytics solutions to enable business partners to make sensitive and critical business decisions. Summary of position

The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform.

As an analyst, the candidate will work closely with Sales and Marketing functional leaders, business analysts, and subject matter experts to identify, develop and deploy new business processes. This role is a part technical project manager, part administrator, and part Salesforce analyst. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support to the organization serving as the main point of contact for CRM business support needs troubleshooting issues coordinating resolution and documenting requirements to execute improvements.
• Work closely with the Sales / Service Operations team and other business units to ensure efficient and effective utilization of Salesforce CRM across the business.
• Work independently with members of the Saas engineering team to define and document the requirements and serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environments.
• Handle all administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks
• Complete regular internal system audits and prepares for upgrades
• Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
• Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
• Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
• Clone orgs and refresh Sandboxes. Then seed the org with data that needs to be tailored to the type and size of Sandbox
• Managed and Lead code deployments using Git. Develop and maintain all Git scripts
• Manage and communicate Salesforce upgrades. Upgrade strategy includes all types of Sandboxes leading to Production - Develop scripts for Data Migration

Requirement

• Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
• Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certifications are preferred.
• Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
• Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
• Good knowledge of Git and code deployment tools like AutoRabbit or Copado
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
• A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
• Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
