Senior Full Stack Engineer

Nutanix is disrupting the multi-billion dollar cloud infrastructure market by pioneering the

first hybrid cloud platform that can incrementally scale out to manage petabytes of data,

while running tens of thousands of virtual machines. This brings about exciting new

challenges in building a cloud scale distributed control plane that can serve a multitude

of applications.

You will work on the new licensing and features consumption service that will determine

when and how Nutanix users will use our software and services. This core feature will be

a core service to be consumed by other Nutanix features as well as consumers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reliable, scalable, efficient, high performance control plane software for large scale enterprise and hybrid cloud.
• Design and develop features for the Nutanix manageability platform that interacts with Nutanix Core Services.
• Design and Implement a cloud scale API platform that makes it easy for developers to build, publish, execute and manage APIs at cloud scale.
• Contribute to the development of licensing web applications.
• Create effective unit and integration tests.
• Ability to write scripts and tools for development and debugging.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Full Stack Development (Java, Go Lang, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

• Proficiency and experience in building JavaScript-based web applications using modern frameworks and libraries (e.g. React, Angular, Vue, Backbone)

• Experience in enterprise-scale REST API design and development.

• Experience with NoSQL database like MongoDB is desirable

• Solid understanding of scalable and distributed systems.

• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms..

• Experience of working in Linux environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of industry experience

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $134,400 and $267,600/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
