Senior Product Manager

**The Opportunity:
**
The position is in the pricing team. The pricing teams report to the head of products who reports to the CEO. The pricing team is responsible for pricing strategy and delivery of that strategy for all Nutanix products. Besides the decisions made by this
team, the output of this team is constantly used for decision making at CEO staff on a regular basis. The role has a lot of learning potential along with both short-term  and long-term impact on company’s growth.

Your role:

• Deeply understand the current state of the business, the pricing model, and
  the performance.
• Ongoing updates to pricing of existing products based on current
  performance, market dynamics, and competitive situation.
  Perform deep analysis to understand current state of business and current competitive situation.
• Participate and lead building out pricing models for new products.
• Participate and lead building and updating cash to quote workflows for
  various products.
• Participate and lead building and updating various Go To Market programs.

What you'll bring:

• Solid understanding of business fundamentals of income statement. Bookings, revenue, margin, etc. 
• Strong business sense.
• Ability to identify relevant metrics in a business situation.
• Strong in data analytics.
• Experience with modelling, structuring, validating hypothesis, and visualizing insights from large data sets. Primarily for executive team.
• We use excel, SQL, and Tableau heavily. Required experience in analyzing
  large data sets and finding insights.
• Experience with or understanding of Quote to Cash workflow is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding (and preferably some experience) of how businesses are run.  
• You think like a general manager with owner’s mindset.
• High attention to detail and  an ability to zoom out to identify the key macro issue at hand.
• You focus on speedy  and timely execution.
• You have clarity for doing the right next step and the urgency
  to get the next step done.
• Excellent planning and organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, verbal and written communication skills.
  You can energize a team and drive them to results even when the team does not report to you or your manager.
